Indications
Mondeslor 10/5 Tablet is used for:
Used to relieve the symptoms of allergic rhinitis such as sneezing and runny nose. This allergic condition could be seasonal or non-seasonal and long-lasting.

Behaviour and mood changes
This medicine may cause changes in behavior and mood. Symptoms such as agitation, irritability, anxiety, unusual dreams, suicidal thoughts, etc. should be reported to the doctor immediately. Caution is advised while giving this medicine to patients with pre-existing psychiatric disorders. Replacement with a suitable alternative may be required based on the clinical condition.
Phenylketonuria
This medicine should be used with caution in patients having Phenylketonuria as some components of this medicine may cause severe adverse effects in such patients. Report any unusual symptoms to the doctor immediately. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.
Liver impairment
This medicine should be used with caution in patients with a known history of liver impairment due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition. Close monitoring of liver function tests, appropriate dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary based on the clinical condition of the patient.
Kidney impairment
This medicine should be used with caution in patients with a known history of renal impairment due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition. Close monitoring of renal function tests, appropriate dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary based on the clinical condition of the patient.
Driving or operating machinery
This medicine may rarely cause symptoms such as drowsiness or dizziness in some patients. It is advised that you do not perform any activities such as driving a vehicle or operating heavy machinery if you experience any of these symptoms during treatment with this medicine.
Lactation
This medicine is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless absolutely necessary.

Mechanism of Action
Montelukast is a selective leukotriene receptor antagonist that inhibits the effects of cysteinyl leukotrienes in the airways.
Desloratadine is a long-acting, tricyclic, non-sedating, selective peripheral histamine H1-receptor antagonist which inhibits the release of pro-inflammatory mediators from human mast cells and basophils.
