Indications

Olodin Eye Drop is used for: It is usually used in the treatment of allergic rhinitis, hives, and itch associated with skin diseases.

Adult Dose

Oral Adult 1 tab (5mg) twice daily

Child Dose

Oral Child > 7 years old 1 tab (5mg) twice daily

Precautions

This medicine may cause sleepiness. Avoid driving a car or operating dangerous machinery. For treatment of pollinosis, take this medicine until the end of pollen season.

Adverse Effects

Side effects of Olopatadine : The most commonly reported adverse reactions include sleepiness, malaise, dry mouth, hypersensitivity (rash, edema, itch, breathing difficulty).

Mechanism of Action

This medicine suppresses production and release of allergic substances (histamine, etc.) in the body. It also resolves and relieves allergic symptoms in skin and nose by inhibiting activities of these allergic substances.
