Indications
Serapep Tablet is used for:
Inflammation and oedema

Adult: PO- The recommended dose is 5-10 mg 3 times/day.

Should be taken with food. Take after meals.
Contra Indications
Hypersensitivity.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with history of liver or kidney disease, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Adverse Effects
Side effects of Serratiopeptidase :
Skin rash, diarrhea, loss of appetite, gastrointestinal disturbance and nosebleed.
Mechanism of Action
Serratiopeptidase is a proteolytic enzyme of Serratia spp source. When taken orally, it relieves inflammation and oedema associated with trauma, infection or chronic venous insufficiency.
