Indications
Bromhexine Hydrochloride + Terbutaline Sulphate + Guaietolin + Menthol is used for:
Bronchial Asthma
Acute/Chronic Bronchitis
Emphysema
Pulmonary TB
Whooping Cough
Adult Dose
Oral
Adult: 1-2 tsf 3 times daily
Child Dose
Renal Dose

Hypersensitivity
Precautions
Cautious use is recommended in patients with hepatic impairment, renal impairment, chronic lung disease, cardiac failure, hypertension, high fever, hyperthyroidism, arrhythmias, pulmonary edema, diabetes mellitus, convulsive disorders, history of peptic ulcers and in breast feeding & pregnant women.

Muscles Cramp
Skeletal muscle tremor of the hand
palpitations
Slight tachycardia
Mechanism of Action
Terbutaline is a direct-acting sympathomimetic which relaxes bronchial smooth muscle by selective action on beta2 receptors. It also decreases uterine contractility.
Bromhexine is a mucolytic.
Guaietolin increases the volume and reduce the viscosity of tenacious sputum and is used as an expectorant for productive cough.
