Indications

Chlorpheniramine + Naphazoline + Phenylephrine + Menthol eye prep is used for: Allergic conjunctivitis, vernal conjunctivitis, phlyctenular conjunctivitis, ocular itching, redness & tearing, allergy & irritation of mild to moderate degree.

Adult Dose

Ophthalmic Adult 1-2 drops into each eye upto qid

Eye Drop may cause blurring of vision for a short time just after its use. Do not drive until vision is clear.

Mechanism of Action

Chlorpheniramine Maleate and Menthol which relieve eye itching/discomfort caused by allergies. Phenylephrine and Naphazoline are decongestants. They work by narrowing blood vessels of the eye to relieve inflammation (redness and swelling). Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic which blocks the action of certain chemical messengers responsible for red, itchy, teary eyes. Menthol is an organic compound which produces a cold sensation and relieves eye irritation.
