Indications
Diflorasone Diacetate 0.05% Topical is used for:
Psoriasis, Corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses
Adult Dose
Topical/Cutaneous
Corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses
Adult: As 0.05% ointment/cream: Apply a thin film over the affected areas 1-4 times daily depending on the severity of the condition.
Child Dose

Contra Indications
Hypersensitivity.
Precautions
Substantial systemic absorption may lead to reversible hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis suppression, manifestations of Cushing's syndrome, hyperglycaemia and glucosuria. Treatment should be discontinued if there is irritation. Pregnancy and lactation.
Lactation: It is not known whether topical administration of corticosteroids could result in sufficient systemic absorption to produce detectable quantities in milk. Use with caution.

Side effects of Diflorasone Diacetate 0.05% Topical :
Burning sensation, itching, redness, dryness. Folliculitis, hypertrichosis, acneiform eruptions, hypopigmentation, perioral dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis, skin atrophy, striae, miliaria.

Diflorasone diacetate is a corticosteroid that is used topically for its anti-inflammatory, antipruritic and vasoconstrictive actions.
