Indications
Ferrous Glycine Sulphate + Zinc + Folic acid is used for:
Prophylaxis of iron, zinc & folic acid deficiencies in pregnancy.

Contra Indications
This product is contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
Precautions
Care should be taken in patients who may develop iron overload, such as those with haemochromatosis, haemolytic anaemia or red cell aplasia. Iron chelates with tetracycline and absorption may be impaired.
Lactation: Present in breast milk, use caution

Side effects of Ferrous Glycine Sulphate + Zinc + Folic acid :
Generally well tolerated. However, a few allergic reactions may be seen.
Mechanism of Action
Iron transports oxygen throughout the body and maintains red blood cells, thus making an individual feel energetic and preventing anaemia.
Folic Acid plays a vital role in preventing many serious birth defects and improves brain development and functioning.
Zinc is essential for normal foetal growth & milk production during pregnancy. Zinc requirements increase during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
