Pancreatin + Dimethicone
Indications
Pancreatin + Dimethicone is used for:
Meteorism e.g in aerophagia; in pancreatic insufficiency; hepatic, biliary, gastric & intestinal disorders; post-operative meteorism; flatulence; gastrocardiac (Roemheld) syndrome. Preparation for radiography of abdomen in meteorism (diagnostic procedures involving biliary ducts & kidneys, radiography of the lumbar segment of the vertebral column & pelvis, pancreatic exocrine insufficiency.
Adult Dose
Oral
Tablet
1-2 tabs with meals without chewing.
For X-ray preparations: 2 coated tablets 3 or 4 times daily, 2 days prior to examination. 2 coated tablets on morning of examination on empty stomach.
Pancreatic exocrine insufficiency: As directed by the physician.
